As most of you know, Noah had surgery on Friday. That day was quite stressful. The doctor found the surgery to be more complicated than he had originally thought. But after over two hours of surgery, the issues were resolved. Once he woke up in the recovery room, he was very upset and inconsolable. So they brought him to us while he was still getting iv fluids. It was hard to calm him down and he was very obviously in alot of pain. It was a very hard thing to go through as parents, but eventually they got the pain under control and he was able to rest. Since then, he has been such a trooper. He slept alot the first day and slept all night except when I woke him to give him the medicine. Since then, the biggest challenge has been to keep him from being too active. He wants to climb and run and play as usual but we're supposed to keep him calm. So we've taken drives and walks (thankfully the weather has been nice), just to keep him contained. We love Noah so much and are really glad that things have gone as well as they have! Here are a few pics from the surgery day...
Here he is playing, waiting to go to our room...

Here he is in the precious little hospital gown...

And there it is from the back with the little diaper peeking out. Could he be cuter?

Meanwhile, Bennett's been having a great time with Grammie & Papa who are keeping him all weekend. Saturday Papa took him to the World of Wheels.
Here's Bennett with one of his favorites, Diego!
And here he is with a race car. You can see how excited he is about that!
And it looks like he got to ride something, not sure what that vehicle is but looks like he was having fun!
