Indian Night

The summer fun continued last night when Shane was the Big Chief for Indian Night at Camp Winnataska. Noah spent the night with Grammie & Papa and Shane, Bennett & I headed out to camp. Our friends Jim & Geoff were the Chico (6-8 yr olds) Directors this week so they graciously let Bennett & me join in with their festivities. We roasted marshmellows, got faces painted and played on the playground. Then we got to march into Indian Night behind the torch bearers and sit with chicos like real campers. Shane did great and Bennett really enjoyed it. Note the Indian Chief's pants with fringe down the side - I made those yesterday afternoon and am quite proud of how they turned out (and especially that they stayed on & didn't tear up while Shane got on & off the horse). Great night!
